Apple iPad 2 Review

Here is the next generation iPad from Apple which has gone thinner, lighter and faster of course. Seriously, this has turned out to be one of the cool tablet PC versions from Apple which can give a stiff competition to its counterpart Blackberry Playbook.

Let us peep into the Design and Features aspects of this all new cool iPad,

Design:

There is not much of a difference in the design of the next generation iPad expect a minor change in the back side. The back portion has been made flatter than its predecessor that of course has made a lot of difference in holding the gadget. The all new chassis is also an immediate and a clear improvement to the device.

The new version has been made thinner which makes the ipad 2 weigh less than its predecessor. Dimensions of thenew iPad measures: 7.31 in x 0.34 in x 9.5 in (WxDxH). Thickness of the device is less than your iPhone 4. It is just amazing to have a gadget in thickness less than a phone.

Apple has provided iPad 2 with two cameras, one is the front one just like what your iPhone 4 has and another one is a HD camera located on the back top right corner of the 9.7 in screen.

Features:

The most important feature is the all new A5 dual-core processor from Apple which gives a real boost to the iPad 2. The new version has got dual CPU which ensures that the applications are opening in a good speed than its predecessor. Apple has promised that the Graphics display would be much better than the original one as the company claims that the new A5 Processor is 9 times better in graphical aspects.

The rear HD camera can capture 720p videos while the front facing camera helps in video calling just like your iPhone 4. Facetime chat application was introduced along with this new version which will help in the video calling. Apple has also introduced two more apps for iPad 2, Garageband and iMovie.

Another feature of this 1.33 lbs weighing gadget is the support to HDMI compatibility which helps in sending the output to a TV. It supports wireless connectivity including IEEE 802.11n IEEE 802.11g IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11a.

Review:
The all new A5 dual-core processor double power CPU support really helps the new version run faster than its predecessor and the graphics support present helps in playing high graphics videos/games with ease.

The flat surface helps the gadget to fit into the surface more precisely than its predecessor. The weight, the thin construction, the sexy look are the real plus for the new version which can play good number of applications when compared to its other market competitors.

Apple has missed the retina display present in the iPhone 4 which should have been here in the iPad 2. Another thing missed by Apple is the display, there must have been some changes done to it.

10 Hours of battery life is also an advantage in the new boy. Last but not least, do not forget the price of the iPad, it is highly competitive for the features it is offering.

Price:

Pricing is steady in the US, iPad Wi-Fi only version has been given a price tag of $499, $599, and $699 for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions respectively. iPad Wi-Fi+3G has been given a price tag of $629, $729, and $829 for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions respectively.

Techperk Tagline:

Nicer look, Nice to feel, Nice to hold, Nice to run apps are the cool features of the all new cool iPad. The Drastic dimension and processor difference from its predecessor helps the new boy to become a stiff competitor for its counterparts.

Comments are always appreciated!!
