Apple iPad 2 Review

Here is the next generation iPad from Apple which has gone thinner, lighter and faster of course. Seriously, this has turned out to be one of the cool tablet PC versions from Apple which can give a stiff competition to its counterpart Blackberry Playbook.

Let us peep into the Design and Features aspects of this all new cool iPad,

Design:

There is not much of a difference in the design of the next generation iPad expect a minor change in the back side. The back portion has been made flatter than its predecessor that of course has made a lot of difference in holding the gadget. The all new chassis is also an immediate and a clear improvement to the device.

The new version has been made thinner which makes the ipad 2 weigh less than its predecessor. Dimensions of thenew iPad measures: 7.31 in x 0.34 in x 9.5 in (WxDxH). Thickness of the device is less than your iPhone 4. It is just amazing to have a gadget in thickness less than a phone.

Apple has provided iPad 2 with two cameras, one is the front one just like what your iPhone 4 has and another one is a HD camera located on the back top right corner of the 9.7 in screen.

Apple iPad2 Review

Features:

The most important feature is the all new A5 dual-core processor from Apple which gives a real boost to the iPad 2. The new version has got dual CPU which ensures that the applications are opening in a good speed than its predecessor. Apple has promised that the Graphics display would be much better than the original one as the company claims that the new A5 Processor is 9 times better in graphical aspects.

The rear HD camera can capture 720p videos while the front facing camera helps in video calling just like your iPhone 4. Facetime chat application was introduced along with this new version which will help in the video calling. Apple has also introduced two more apps for iPad 2, Garageband and iMovie.

Another feature of this 1.33 lbs weighing gadget is the support to HDMI compatibility which helps in sending the output to a TV. It supports wireless connectivity including IEEE 802.11n IEEE 802.11g IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11a.

Apple iPad 2 review

Review:
The all new A5 dual-core processor double power CPU support really helps the new version run faster than its predecessor and the graphics support present helps in playing high graphics videos/games with ease.

The flat surface helps the gadget to fit into the surface more precisely than its predecessor. The weight, the thin construction, the sexy look are the real plus for the new version which can play good number of applications when compared to its other market competitors.

Apple has missed the retina display present in the iPhone 4 which should have been here in the iPad 2. Another thing missed by Apple is the display, there must have been some changes done to it.

10 Hours of battery life is also an advantage in the new boy. Last but not least, do not forget the price of the iPad, it is highly competitive for the features it is offering.

Price:

Pricing is steady in the US, iPad Wi-Fi only version has been given a price tag of $499, $599, and $699 for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions respectively. iPad Wi-Fi+3G has been given a price tag of $629, $729, and $829 for the 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB versions respectively.

Techperk Tagline:

Nicer look, Nice to feel, Nice to hold, Nice to run apps are the cool features of the all new cool iPad. The Drastic dimension and processor difference from its predecessor helps the new boy to become a stiff competitor for its counterparts.

Review:

The phone though comes with a TouchFlo 3D user interface friendly touchscreen for intricate gestures, you will still find yourself that the HTC TouchFlo 3D is unable to meet the demands of minute gestures.
What is better about the phone is that it comes with a slim design that has a convenient large screen for full view of the entire web page. The full Adobe Flash 10.1, built-in HTML5 support will support web browsing experience like that of your PC. Other connectivity solutions will include the Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and a Bluetooth 2.1 EDR.

Blackberry Playbook Review

Apart from this the tablet has a front facing 3MP camera for video calling and a rear facing 5 Mp camera with the necessary software to support an excellent video capturing at 1080p HD quality or pixel resolution.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server is the built-in software that enables corporate access and is meant for business operations efficiently. Otherwise, the OS of the tablet is meant for making the tablet powerful, user-friendly and is built on QNX technology, which is the secret behind the accessibility for multi-tasking.

Some of the other applications that have been introduced are the exclusive brands of rapid development support to POSIX OS, SMP, Open GL, BlackBerry 6, WebKit, Adobe Flash, Java and Adobe Mobile AIR. It has the following output ports like H.264, MPEG4, WMV HDMI video output ports, micro USB and micro HDMI ports with a fully-fledged multi-touch capacitive screen.

Blackberry Playbook Review

Review:
There are a number of goodies in this Playbook that helps with your wireless connectivity solutions like the real time accessibility to emails, calendars, address book, task list and BBM, in short, your personalized organizers that which is connected continuously with the internet and keeps you updated online too.

The multitasking accessibility on the BlackBerry OS makes this tablet convenient to do many tasks simultaneously and access information concurrently. This feature, in addition to the corporate access is a real gift to corporate sectors that will help you gain immense access of taking your office wherever you go.

To support the entertainment phone is the video conferencing accessibility that will produce crystal clear and sharp image outputs, backed with rich stereo sound and dual HD video cameras for recording high quality videos.

What is not good is the size of the tablet and it lags behind with the competing tablets in capturing videos in various shapes and angles, and is a difficult task to achieve as well.

Overall, the Blackberry playbook will receive a big welcome from the customers, despite this too cannot surpass the size limitations like other tablet PCs, but is well compromised with a better browsing experience that you have been receiving earlier. Yet another problem that is faced by the Blackberry Playbook is the amount of battery consumption that you will find it hard to work when not in connection, and with time, you will be finding the quality of the battery wears out sooner than before you think. An enhanced battery life comes with a cost of not being ecofriendly, which of course, will not miss the eyes of the environmentalists.

TechPerk Tagline:

Ultimately, in one sentence this seems to be one of the promising and will be a tough competitor for all the tablets out in the market and could be tagged as an all-in-one entertainment, gaming and business tablet that will keep you on the go!
