Verizon Wireless has announced the launch of most awaiting Motorola XOOM Tablet PC, which is considered as the competitor of Apple iPad2. Verizon has declared that XOOM will be available in its stores from 24th of February and has also confirmed the cost of this Honeycomb device.
Verizon is offering XOOM for $599.99 with a two-year service contract, which without a contract costs only $799.99. Verizon offers 3G data service for 1GB of data at $20/month and also the company has announced free upgrade of 4G LTE for XOOM during the second quarter of this year. But, still there is no word on the cost of its upcoming 4G LTE.
