Microsoft sidewinder x4 is a multimedia keyboard introduced by Microsoft Corporation. The Company has launched so many software so far particularly operating system but they are spending little time in manufacturing of hardware products as well .The main purpose of this keyboard is for gaming particularly for Microsoft Xbox which is a well known competitor for Sony play station 3. Microsoft has developed its own technology known as anti-ghosting that helps the users to go to the next level of playing games.
Special feature is that using this keyboard we can press 26 keys at a time so the hardware is designed such that it can detect each and every command simultaneously and it will be displayed in the screen without taking much time. For example kids while playing educational games instead of pressing each and every key they can smash the entire keyboard at a single go so that it will visible on the screen. The keyboard is provided with switching profiles along with six programmable macro keys and there are three different backlight in the keyboard that can be used when we need a power source. Media controls especially Xbox gaming can be controlled by this keyboard and also calculator button is provided as an additional feature in this keyboard.
